I have enjoyed meeting so many thoughtful and dedicated Republicans and making new friends around Southern Maryland. Running for office has been an exciting and fascinating experience.
As 2007 draws to a close, our Nation faces unprecedented challenges, both at home and abroad, to our security, our future prosperity, and our American culture of freedom with responsibility.
As citizens, we look to our elected representatives to make the tough choices needed to safeguard our shared heritage in this unstable and often hostile world.
One person in particular whom I have gotten to know well is Mr. Collins Bailey, the man who will be our Republican candidate against the incumbent. You will not find a more principled, honest, and thoughtful person to represent you in the Fifth District. I hope you will join me in supporting this outstanding citizen as our next United States Representative in the November General Election.
